What is non-emergency medical transportation (NEMT)?

Non-emergency medical transportation, or NEMT, provides safe, reliable rides for people who need help getting to and from medical appointments but do not need an ambulance. Golden Years NEMT serves seniors, veterans, and families across Kentucky with friendly, professional drivers and clean, accessible vehicles.

We call it door-through-door care. Our drivers do more than drive — they help you safely from your door to the vehicle and into your appointment, treating you the way they would want their own loved one treated.
